Com um motor Volvo penta 2 x 306 hp, turbina a gás e sistema de propulsăo a jato, o iate Fortuna da família real espanhola pode chegar a uma velocidade recorde de 52 nós (96 Km/h), enquanto os modelos padrăo da linha Fortuna se restringem a 12 nós (22 km/h). O megaiate de Juan Carlos I, de 99 pés (30 m), possui uma autonomia de 500 milhas náuticas (925 km), com tanques de três mil litros para combustível e de sete mil litros para água.

O conforto de um passeio no modelo do iate Fortuna de Juan Carlos I é digno da realeza.
